Legumes tip
Everybody know that beans, lentils or chickpeas can be a bit tricky after digestion, due to the increase of intestinal gas. This is cause by the legumes thick skin.
So it’s important that you pre-soak them in water with 1/2 tsp of baking soda every 1 kg/2 lb of legumes for 2 – 6 hours.
Don’t use too much baking soda to prevent proteins and vitamins loss.
